Using Seesaw – Our Communication and Learning Platform

At St Christopher’s, we use Seesaw to share your child’s learning journey and make communication easy and effective. Seesaw is a secure online platform that allows you to:

  • See your child’s work in real time – Teachers upload photos, videos, and examples of your child’s learning so you can celebrate their progress.
  • Receive important updates – Class announcements and reminders are posted directly in the app.
  • Communicate easily – You can send messages to your child’s class teacher and Head of Phase through Seesaw, making it simple to stay connected.
  • Engage with your child’s learning – You can like and comment on posts to encourage and support your child.

How it works:

  • Each child has their own private journal that only you and their teachers can see.
  • Teachers regularly upload work and updates so you can follow along with what’s happening in class.
  • You can access Seesaw via the Seesaw Family app on your phone or tablet, or through a web browser.

Getting Started with Seesaw

  1. Download the Seesaw Family app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Open the app and select I’m a Family Member.
  3. Enter the unique QR code or link provided by your child’s teacher to connect to their journal.
  4. Create your account using your email address and a secure password.
  5. Once logged in, you can view your child’s work, receive updates, and message teachers directly.
