Using Seesaw – Our Communication and Learning Platform
At St Christopher’s, we use Seesaw to share your child’s learning journey and make communication easy and effective. Seesaw is a secure online platform that allows you to:
- See your child’s work in real time – Teachers upload photos, videos, and examples of your child’s learning so you can celebrate their progress.
- Receive important updates – Class announcements and reminders are posted directly in the app.
- Communicate easily – You can send messages to your child’s class teacher and Head of Phase through Seesaw, making it simple to stay connected.
- Engage with your child’s learning – You can like and comment on posts to encourage and support your child.
How it works:
- Each child has their own private journal that only you and their teachers can see.
- Teachers regularly upload work and updates so you can follow along with what’s happening in class.
- You can access Seesaw via the Seesaw Family app on your phone or tablet, or through a web browser.
Getting Started with Seesaw
- Download the Seesaw Family app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Open the app and select I’m a Family Member.
- Enter the unique QR code or link provided by your child’s teacher to connect to their journal.
- Create your account using your email address and a secure password.
- Once logged in, you can view your child’s work, receive updates, and message teachers directly.
If you need help downloading the app, logging in, or navigating Seesaw, please contact your Head of Phase, who will be happy to assist you.
We value having this platform as an effective tool to enhance communication and strengthen the partnership between home and school.
