Parents and Carers letter.

Dear Parents and Carers,

On the 16 December 2021, Welsh Government announced that the beginning of the spring term will start 2 days later than initially planned. This means that all pupils will return to St Christopher’s School for face-to-face learning on the 10 January 2022. At this time, we are planning for a full school return and we will work during these 2 days to plan and implement additional measures to keep everybody safe.

We are planning to:

  • Remain in phase bubbles and under some circumstances class bubbles

  • Face coverings will be expected, if not exempt.

  • Lunches will be served back in classes for the first 2 weeks and we will evaluate the process after this

We are also working with the local authority and colleges in relation to when it is safe to re-start attending college. In the short term, meetings and annual reviews will move to be completed remotely. If you have any difficulty accessing Teams or Zoom, please let us know and we will be more than happy to help.

We will continue to update all our families as we receive any further information. Please contact us at school if you would like any further clarification or advice.

In the meantime, please stay safe and we will be in touch as soon as we have further information.

Kind regards,

Margaret E Davies.
