Changes to the Governing Body

Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to inform you of recent changes to the composition of St Christopher’s Governing Body. This year Mr Viv Russell, chair of Governors, has retired after two decades of supporting our school. We would like to thank Mr Russell for his work and wish him well with his retirement and next steps. We have also received resignations from Ms Helen Wynne and Mrs Carol Davies, parent governors. Both have worked very hard on behalf of the school and we pass on our best wishes to both- thank you very much for everything.

A Governor’s meeting was held in September and Mr Clive Pickett was successfully appointed as our new Chair of Governors. We wish Clive well in his new role and he is available by addressing any letters to the Chair of Governors at the school address. We would also like to welcome Ms Gill Sims as an LA governor and Mrs Juliet Paige as a new parent governor. In addition, Mrs Ann Parry was re-elected for a further period as parent governor. This leaves us with one vacancy as parent governor. If you would like to be considered as a parent governor, please get in touch with me at school.

Our Governing Body play a vital role in supporting the school and we are pleased to be working alongside them as we continue to grow as a school.

Warm Wishes,

Margaret E Davies.
